Raiding the local fleamarket vol.2

Spent this sunny Sunday morning at the local flea market with Maria, and I came home with these lovely things. I seem to have this thing for yellow at the moment... The picture is of an Easter hen with Easter eggs, and it has been woven in looms, really skillful and well made piece of traditional tapestry. Fell in love with it at the first sight, and I think it will stay on my wall a bit longer than just Easter. With that quality, it was a bargain too, which was nice on one hand, but on the other it means that people still haven't realized the value of old, hand made textiles, which is a bit of a shame. Maria got an old escargot pan, which I'm hoping means we'll be eating escargots in garlic butter in the next Pattern Bakery meeting?
